NAYA by Africa is an innovative Ghanaian bath-and-body brand that elevates indigenous oils into aromatherapy self-care. NAYA Naturals Limited was founded in July 2014 by Nana Ama Yankah, sustainably transforming Shea Butter, Baobab & Moringa Oils and Black Soap into pampering bath and body care. A software developer, Yankah began crafting beauty products in her Atlanta kitchen as a mental escape, then moved back to Ghana in 2014 after 13 years and realized her hobby could transform into a business. For deep skin, the draw is richly scented shea butters, baobab body oils and black-soap shower gels that combat ashiness and dryness while offering choice across scents and moods. A distinctive angle: NAYA is built on a women-led R&D and manufacturing hub of mostly women in STEAM who research, test and manufacture the products. A genuinely under-listed Ghana-born, woman-operated indie.
