Arami Essentials
Founded by Ore Runsewe (Lawani)

Arami Essentials is a clean, beautifully branded Nigerian skincare line rooted in African wellness traditions. Founder Ore Runsewe moved to Nigeria from the UK in 2014 and found her trusted products unavailable or prohibitively expensive; with sensitive skin, she began making her own, and that personal experiment grew into Arami, meaning 'my body' in Yoruba. She built formulas around Africa's beauty secrets, shea butter, Nigerian black soap and cold-pressed local oils. The brand is explicitly suited to deep skin concerns: customers report the turmeric soap helping with pigmentation and eczema, and the products fading stubborn dark marks. Its formulas are free from sulphates, parabens, phthalates, silicones and mineral oil. A standout discovery detail: every package includes a 'promise card' with words of encouragement. Note the founder's surname appears as both Runsewe and Lawani across sources.
