Narganics

Narganics is a handcrafted Lagos skincare-and-fragrance house with a luxurious, dessert-inspired aesthetic. Susan Tobor Akinyooye founded Narganics out of a desire to provide Nigerians with natural skincare that also had a premium, exotic feel; the name is an amalgam of 'natural' and 'organic.' Products are handmade in Lagos in small batches. For deep skin, the brand leans into brightening and even-tone care: its Phoenix Advance Formula Black Soap features carrot oil, kojic acid and salicylic acid for a deeper cleanse to brighten the skin. Its halo product is luxury-tier, in 2017 Narganics launched 'Aurum,' a gold-infused skin elixir made from a blend of anti-ageing and rejuvenating oils. A signature discovery detail is the playful packaging: the Cinnamon Mocha Latte Exfoliating Scrub looks good enough to drink. Caveat: sources cite the founding year as both 2016 and 2017.
