Swiitch Beauty is South Africa's homegrown teen-founded cult brand, built around accessible colour and community-led product development. Founder Rabia Ghoor started the brand five years before this writing, from a four-square-metre area in her bedroom, when she was fourteen years old. She built it to close a glaring local gap. American, European or Asian brands unavailable in South Africa were constantly innovating, while South African brands lagged behind or just straight up didn't exist. Swiitchbeauty creates user-friendly, accessible makeup and skincare products designed to be easy to use and effective. For deep and brown South African skin its affordable blushes, lip crayons and vibrant lip tints are formulated and crowd-tested by the very community wearing them. The AirBalm lip tints launched in four shades, 'It's an era', 'It's soft life', 'It's provocative' and 'It's giving'. Caveat: confirm the current bold-colour eyeshadow and blush assortment, as the range flexes with community demand.
