Bold Make Up is one of francophone Africa's best-known homegrown makeup houses, distributed widely across francophone West Africa. Founded in 2017 by Ange Mbayen, Bold Make Up is a renowned Cameroonian brand celebrating African beauty, offering quality products adapted to black and mixed skin. (Some sources date the launch to 2015.) Bold Make Up was created by three young women, Ange Mbayen and Audrey Mouangue of Cameroon, plus French-Algerian Isma Henani, and is specialised in makeup adapted to black, mate and mixed skin, known for exceptional quality at affordable prices. Its complexion range is deliberately broad: Bold offers a wide range of foundation shades to meet the needs of all complexions. It reaches deep-skin consumers across the region, its products are distributed in Cameroon, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and Belgium. The brand also runs the Bold Academy makeup school in Douala. Affordable, ambitious and regionally important.
