Inua Naturals is an East African social-enterprise skincare line built around moringa and locally sourced botanicals. In partnership with USAID and Peace Corps, Inua founder Abir Ibrahim and counterpart Mwinyi Boko established Inua Naturals in rural Tanzania in response to the gender-poverty gap and high rates of malnutrition in the region. The brand frames itself around impact: it creates new industry and economies for women who do not otherwise have access to the global consumer, helping women rise above poverty, raise healthier families and stimulate their local economies. Products like the Organic Moringa Vitamin C Serum target dull skin to create a radiant complexion, promoting elasticity while antioxidants brighten and vitamin E hydrates and nourishes. For deep skin, the moringa-and-sandalwood elixirs and brightening toners are aimed at dullness and dark-circle concerns common to melanin-rich complexions.
