In 2015, she founded Danessa Myricks Beauty as a response to the lack of inclusivity in the beauty industry. The brand's appeal for deep skin lies in its multifunctional, ultra-pigmented complexion products, the Yummy Skin balm-powder foundation, Vision cream covers and Colorfix liquids, that translate richly on medium-to-deep tones where many formulas flatten or grey out.
