Clionadh Cosmetics is the indie multichrome house that took the colour-lover community by storm with its ever-expanding Stained Glass Collection, at one point the largest range of multichrome shadows on the market. In 2019, Clionadh took the indie makeup world by storm and released a huge collection of multichrome shadows, and with 55 shadows the Stained Glass collection was the largest collection of multichrome shadows on the market. What earns it a place here is intentional inclusivity: Clionadh thought about those with more melanin and created the Deep Iridescent Multichromes with different colored bases (instead of white) to fix the dusty, dry look on darker skin. The Deep Iridescent Multichromes have tanned bases which make them ideal for medium to deep skin tones, and unlike regular iridescents they will not show up ashy on dark skin because they lack the white base. A genuine discovery gem for deep-skin colour fans, with the honest caveat that the deep-base line is still small, reviewers wish Clionadh would expand beyond its handful of shades.
